The Infectious Diseases Summit 2025 - ‘Celebrating Progress, Building Preparedness’ held this November, marked a significant milestone for Aotearoa New Zealand’s preparedness efforts, bringing together leading scientists, sector partners and community representatives at Tuurangawaewae Marae.

Across three-days, Te Niwha hosted more than 80 research presentations, three panel discussions, workshops and cross-sector networking sessions, further strengthening relationships across the infectious-disease science community.
